Wow Yoko thanks a lot! You know how to treat hungry people like me.. Who I’m missing in this list is Hiromi Uehara. She’s one of my Asian Jazz heroines together with Helen Sung, Jihye Lee (Jazz singer) Jihye Lee (Jazz composer) and last but not least you.. There’s so much going on with (Jazz) music in Asia. Hondreds of young Asian students working really hard in the United States alone and elsewhere in the world too, chasing their musical aspirations.. I follow these movements a couple of years and nobody can deny something amazing is going on in musical way of speaking. You must be so proud, don’t you? Thank you for the amazing list, I’ll listen to them all. Till next time!

Thank you Jos! Yes you are right and I can tell you from my experiences of teaching at Berklee there are many more talented Asian jazz musicians coming too. I’m glad you appreciate these blogs and I’m even more glad you appreciate my playing and music!
