John Coltrane Memorial Concert this Saturday
For many jazz fans, and jazz newbies, John Coltrane is an instantly recognizable name. He died too young at 40 in 1967.
This year marks the 35th John Coltrane Memorial Concert in Boston. This year’s concert honors Steve Schwartz, whose popular Friday evening WGBH radio show was eliminated due to a new schedule, among other big jazz names. The concert is hosted by WGBH jazz radio host and friend of the Yoko Miwa Trio, Eric Jackson.
Tickets start at $35 and the concert will be held at Northeastern University’s Blackman Theatre at 7:30 pm. This is the oldest annual concert celebrating the life and work of John Coltrane, so be sure to check it out if you can.

Thanks so much for spreading the word!!!
My pleasure!
Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon on a daily basis. It will always be helpful to read through articles from other authors and use a little something from their sites.
