Wow! Thx for sharing this story of your experience with family surviving that earthquake, getting out to find water everyday, living thru the event itself. The devastation & loss of life reminded me of what’s been grinding on in Syria for the last few years. I’m sure your jazz playing at gigs in that area helped many lift up their spirits and heal some deep wounds. Loved that Yoko’s Waltz song too! Thx for this post and thx for being you!
