Hi Yoko,
I will listen to the whole performance over the next few weeks. I got your message from last week. I lost track of time, and didn’t realize I had not been in touch for a while. I thought I had just dropped you a message recently, but I guess I haven’t for a while. I have too much life, too little time to do it in. My body is in one place, but it’s like I’m not there, as my head is thinking of a million different things, and I’m in another part of the world. Jazz is my soundtrack in the background of my life, and it’s a way to cool down, so I’ve always got it on. Tell Herbie that I’ve been backstage with Branford Marsalis and the crew at Carnegie Hall, and hung out with the late great Linda Hopkins backstage in Atlantic City, who was a dream, so Yoko Miwa comes highly recommended from an expert. : )
Hi John, No worries! I know you are busy person! Hopefully I will have a chance someday to tell Herbie what you told me! 🙂
