Thank You for Making Last Night a Wonderful Success!
To everyone who came out last night, you all are fantastic! Our return to Scullers Jazz Club was a fabulous evening full of supportive fans and great music.
The audience was amazing…at a hush when we played but enthusiastically responding to the solos from the opening number “Work” by Thelonius Monk. One highlight was Yoko’s rendition of “Up from the Skies” by Jimi Hendrix in honor of his 70th birthday. Plus, all copies of the new CD Act Naturally sold out quickly!
Our gratitude to Fred Taylor and Scullers Jazz Club! The Boston Globe, Kevin Lowenthal, Eric Jackson, Bob Blumenthal, Ann Braithwaite, Gille Amaral, Jon Garelick, Erin Halvey, Lisa Occhino, Bonnie Johnson, Joe Zupan, WICN, Berklee College of Music, Berklee Groove, Japanese Association of Greater Boston and Japan Society of Boston. Special thanks to Geroge Beal and Arthur Dahl! Most of all I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to the wonderful audience!
Check back next week for photos from last night’s performance.
